Frederick J. Czarnaty of Englewood, FL, formerly Southington, CT passed peacefully on Tuesday September 8, 2015 with his family at his side. He was born in New Britain, CT, son of the late Frederick and Sophie Czarnaty. He is survived by his wife Laura (Bialkowski) of 46 years, two daughters Cheryl (Kevin Shirley) of Old Lyme, CT and Donna (Mark Mecca) of Port Charlotte, FL. Fred is also survived by three sisters, Shirley Lucas of Newington, CT, JoAnn (Brian Thomas) of Port Charlotte, FL, and Patricia (Bob DiDonno) of Berlin, CT along with several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his sister Dorothy Leveille and brother-in-law Fabian of Clearwater, FL and brother-in-law Joseph Lucas of Newington, CT. Fred served in the Air Force and was employed by Konica-Minolta Business Machines for over 30 years, retiring in 2008. Originally from Southington, CT, Fred retired to Florida with his wife in 2010. He was an avid member of the Southington High School Band Backers for many years and enjoyed gardening. Fred especially enjoyed trips with his wife and family to “The Divi Little Bay” in St. Maarten for over 25 years as well as gaming at the casinos. Fred had many friends and loved to just have a good time and make people laugh. He will be missed by all of those whose lives he touched.
