Frederick E. Hawkins, 61, of Allentown, died suddenly on Monday, October 11, 2010, in his home. He was the husband of Jeannette (Jones) Hawkins for 36 years. Born in Ithaca, New York, he was the son of the late Frederick and Irma (Molnar) Hawkins. He was an Army veteran. Frederick received his Masters in Fine Arts from the San Francisco Art Institute. He was an artist and amateur geologist, and served on the Allentown City Council for 2 years. He was a member of the American Bullmastiff Association and the Greater Delaware Valley Bullmastiff Society. Fred is lovingly remembered by his wife Jeannette at home; sister Jennifer Hawkins Lecce and her husband Carl of Middletown, CT; brothers Eric Hawkins and his wife Terry of West Chester, Pa. and Jeffrey Hawkins and his wife Linda of Glenside, PA.
