Frederick D. Putzig, age 71 years, of Carver, died Saturday, May 28, 2022 at his home. He was the son of the late Lloyd D. and Mildred M. (Dygert) Putzig. Born on December 13, 1950 in Oneida, New York, Fred made is career as a Hospital Medical Technician in the United States Navy for twenty years. His loyalty was to his country and his children. He was a thoughtful and comical man and a devoted caring father. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, fishing and boating. He was a devoted fan of the New York Jets and NASCAR and loved a good cup of coffee. Fred was predeceased by his son Douglas Putzig, and will be forever missed by his children, Michelle Douglass and her husband David of Georgia, Matthew Putzig of Poland, and Christina Marie of Hudson Falls, NY, his sister Debbie Henty and brother Douglas Henty, both of Knoxboro, NY, 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, his companion Valerie Norton and her children, Lisa Septlka, Vinny, Joey, Nicole, Marcy and Brandielee Souza.
