Frederick C. Heidman, Rick to all his friends and acquaintances, entered into eternal life on Sunday morning, April 26, 2015 at his home near Newnan, Georgia after a short illness. His last words were, “As I leave here my Julie will greet me with, Hi Daddy! She will take my hand and lead me to Jesus.” At his beside were wife Joan, son Rick and wife Laura with their daughter Heidi, son Jeff and wife Cindy with their son Aaron. Julie Ruth, daughter of Rick and Joan whom entered into Heaven in 1987 (auto accident), received him on the other side with loving arms. Fred, born December 10, 1931 in Green Bay, WI, to Fred Wm. Heidman and Arlene E. Ohlsen. He married, Joan Lois Hansen, of Great Falls, Montana, on March 27, 1953. They lived in abundant happiness for 62 years. Rick had said many times that God has blessed him immeasurably. His final place will be next to Julie in the family plot in Irving, TX. After serving in the Air Force (20 yrs), he joined his brother in the lawn sprinkler business (25 yrs.), upon retiring he and Joan traveled throughout the US in their RV visiting family and friends for stories and history of Heidman heritage, to chronicle in a Heidman Family Book, Rick also enjoyed working in his wood shop building toy trucks, cars and trains for neighbors and family. He will be surely missed. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, John; sister, Dolly, and daughter, Julie. He is survived by his wife, Joan, sons, Rick and Jeff, daughters –in-law, Laura and Cindy, grandchildren; Heidi, Eric, Matthew, and Aaron.
