Frederick Broersma 84, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Maple Springs Senior Living, in Brigham City, Utah.
Fred was born on April 4, 1932 in Garfield, New Jersey a son of Trina Van Stratton and Jacobus Broersma.
He served his county in the Army during the Korean conflict.
Fred married Barbara E. Flumerfelt on April 5, 1953, she passed away September 14, 1985. He later married Marilyn Jensen Barnes on December 27, 1988, she passed away on February 6, 2016.
Fred worked at Thiokol retiring after 31years.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his Goldwing motorcycle and traveling in the RV.
Fred is survived by his children: Donna (Alex) Fogel, Bradenton, FL; James (Dorothy) Broersma, Brigham City, UT; Eugene Broersma, Tulare, CA; step-children: Susan (Neal) Johnson, Bartesville, OK; Ross Barnes, Tremonton, UT; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his sister Betty (Clarence) Sharp, Newton, New Jersey.
Preceded in death by his parents, 1st wife Barbara and 2nd wife Marilyn.
