Frederick J. Brandt, 83, of Lebanon, IL, born June 25, 1929 in Carlyle, IL, died Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Lebanon Care Center, Lebanon, IL. Fred was a member of the American Legion Post 252 and St. John’s United Church of Christ, both in Breese, IL and attended the 1st Baptist Church of O’Fallon, IL. Fred also served in the United States Marine Corps.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary, nee Carson, Brandt, his parents John M. and Meta Ida, nee Rudolph, Brandt and 2 brothers Martin and Arthur. Fred is survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorials may be made to American Legion Post 252 in Breese or St. John’s United Church of Christ General Fund.
