Frederick Arthur Hine, Sr., age 82, of Fairfield, beloved husband of the late Annette
“Dolly” Hine, was called by God to Heaven Wednesday, April 27th, 2016. He passed on while at his home, and surrounded by family and loved ones. Fred dedicated his life to raising his three children and providing them with a loving and happy home. He gave everything of himself to ensure his children’s wellbeing and success. He was a father who always sacrificed without hesitation, for the benefit of his children. Fred served in the United States Marine Corps from 1951 to 1954 and was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. He bravely fought while defending our country in the Korean War.
