Freddie Brown was born February 5, 1956 to Otto Brown Sr. and Sallie B. Brown in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was the brother of U.L Brown, Robert E. Brown, Effie Brown, Evelyn Brown, Geraldine Woods, Josephine Matlock (Turner) and Verna Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Albert Brown Sr., Otto Brown Jr., Joe Brown and Lee C. Brown; and sister, Fairy Ann Sanders.

Freddie received his education at Rosenwald in Osceola, Arkansas. Shortly after high school Freddie moved to Flint, Michigan where he married Casandra Brown. In 1976, Freddie moved to Indianapolis, Indiana.

In 1994 Freddie married Christina Bellamy and they were married for twenty-five  years, until his untimely passing on June 15, 2019.

Freddie enjoyed many types of music, but jazz was his favorite. He really enjoyed playing chess, which he played very often with Lee Morris.

Some of Freddie’s favorite interests were watching western movies and sports. He greatly enjoyed football and basketball.  Freddie was a very hard worker. He employed at by various companies, including local over-the-road truck driving. He was also an excellent commercial and residential painter. He went on to retire from the City of  Indianapolis Parks and Department of Works, after working a total of nine years in 2014.

Above everything though, Freddie loved talking about Jehovah God. In 1975, Freddie was introduced to “The Truth”. His passion,  from that point on,  was to wholeheartedly do his very best to teach others the truth about The Father and his firstborn child, Jesus, the Christ. And did this using the Bible.
