Freddie Gheesling Walker of Greensboro, GA, died Thursday, October 4, 2018 at his residence at the age of 66. A lifelong resident of Greensboro, Freddie was born on May 20, 1952 to the late Herbert Franklin Walker and Myrtle Lee Gheesling Walker. He graduated from Greene County High School in 1971. On September 21, 1981 he married the former Susan Webb of Greensboro, GA. Freddie’s career was in sales and sharing his infectious smile. Freddie enjoyed being with friends talking and laughing. Over the years he was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed dirt bikes, enduros, basketball, golf, hunting, softball, fishing and motor cycles. He also played football and had the most punt backs for touchdowns in the state of Georgia in 1971.
