Freda Alexander Roberts-Bennett peacefully transitioned from this earthly home into the arms of our Lord and Savior JesusChrist on September 26, 2020. Mrs. Roberts-Bennett taught elementary school in the Rapides Parish School system for threedecades at W.O. Hall Elementary School (formerly Silver City Elementary School) and D.F. Huddle Elementary School. Mrs. Roberts-Bennett was a distinguished graduate of Southern University in Baton Rouge, La., and member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Preceding her in death are her parents (John & Bernice), beloved sisters (two) Fannie & Mary and brothers (two) John and Rosenwald.

Mrs. Roberts-Bennett was married to the late Mr. Clenord Ado Roberts on June 5, 1954. To this union, three sons were born — Clenord Darryl Roberts (Denver, CO), Reginald Duane Roberts (Orlando, FL) and Brian Alexander Roberts (Seattle, WA).
Mrs. Roberts-Bennett was later wedded to the late Rev. Clifton Bennett Sr. and was blessed with 3 daughters and another son. Pauline Johnson (Waukegan, IL), Rosemary Lockett (Los Angeles, CA), Irma Simpson (Waukegan, IL), & Clifton Bennett Jr. (Alexandria, LA).
