Fred (Ferdinand) Zullo, age 93, a lifelong area resident died on Friday July 23, 2010 at his home, at 11:00pm.
Born February 11, 1917 in Claremont, N.H., he was the son of the late Lorenzo and Constantina Marro Zullo. Fred also known as Freddie was the long time owner of Fred’s variety on West Avenue.
In addition to his wife, Maria (Mezzo) Zullo, Fred is survived by his sons, Larry Zullo ,Mark Zullo and Frederick Zullo; Daughters, Lorraine Caruso- Harvey and Deborah Nunes. Freddie is also survived by two sisters, Rose Lucchesi and Katherine “Kitty” Lucchesi, he is also survived by 10 grandchildren 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by a grandson Louis Caruso, brothers Angelo, Ralph and John Zullo and sisters Daisy Sessa, Agnes Mancuso, and Deena Lorusso.
