Fred was born on January 22, 1924 in Galesburg, the son of Fred W. and Myrtle A. Johnson Wright, Sr. Surviving Fred is a sister, Mary Tracy of Galesburg; a sister-in-law, Margaret Wright of Galesburg; several nieces and nephews.
Fred was a practical nurse for several years at St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica, CA. He served in the Air National Guard during the Korean War. He was a member of First Lutheran Church, Wataga Senior Citizens, OAKS, and the Ralph M. Noble American Legion Post #285.
