Bradenton, Florida – Fred Staroszik, 99, Bradenton, died April 7, 2010 at Blake Medical Center, Bradenton, Florida.
He was born November 29, 1910 in Alberta, Canada, and resided in Anderson. He retired from Fisher Guide Division of General Motors in 1972 after 32 years of employment as an electrician. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. Fred was a member of Markleville East Christian Church, U.A.W. #663 and Markleville Masonic Lodge. Fred is survived by a step grandson, Verl Stamm of Anderson and many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada and Washington State. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gustav and Marie Greybeck Staroszik.
