Fred M. Ogle, 76, of Anderson, passed away on December 29, 2014 at his residence. He was born on April 27, 1938 in Anderson, where he resided all of his life.
He retired from USF Holland as a Teamster #135 Truck Driver after 35 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with family, picnics, oldies music, westerns, the Marshall Dillon Draw, flea markets, was an auctioneer, raced at Sun Valley in the early 70’s for a few years, and was in charge of the 8th Street Gas Light Festival for many years.
Fred is survived by his loving wife, Lisa (Creel) Ogle; children, Stephanie Luke, Robert (Beth) Ogle, Angela (fiancé Randy Brown) Reynolds, Pamela Kelly (Doug) Novotney, Eric (Laura) Ogle and Latasha (Ty) Denney; sister, Sandra Monday-Quirk; 16 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosemond (Burton) Ogle; father, Ralph Ogle; and siblings, Carolyn Manns, John Ogle, and Norma Partlow.
