Fred Lee Beck, 95, of Coleridge, died Friday, November 6, 2020 at Universal Health Care in Ramseur.
Fred was a native of Moore County and a longtime resident of Coleridge. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a self-employed farmer. When he accepted Jesus he carried his Bible in his truck and was always telling people about God’s amazing Grace. He was always willing to help a neighbor in need, especially his farming friends. Fred always had a smile and wanted to shake hands with everyone. We are so thankful and blessed to have had him for 95 years. Fred was preceded in death by his daughter, Marie Beck McMasters, his son, Donald Beck, his parents, Robert and Bertha Ritter Beck, sister, Mildred Garner, brothers, Jimmy Beck, William Beck, and Jack Beck.
Survivors: wife, Wilma Beck, of the home, daughter, Carol Beck Lawson, and husband, Wayne, of Ramseur, brother, Mack Beck, of Robbins, grandchildren, Sherrie Phillips, Emily Smith, Susan Ferguson, Phil Lawson, Kim Garner, eight great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren.
