Fred James Watson, died in his home on Sunday, September 24, in Sharpsburg, Georgia. He was 93 years old.Mr. Watson was born on May 12, 1924. Mr. Watson retired from Delta Airlines after 42 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Juanita Williams Watson. He is also survived by his daughter, Wanda and Sonny Lowery of Luthersville, Ga, son, Steve Watson and Elsa Laffitte of Mount Holly, NC, son, Chris and Kimberley Watson of Sharpsburg. Grandchildren, Alison (Young) and Michael Weickum of Newnan, Robbie and Jessica Watson of Pottersville, MO and Thomas Watson and fiancé Alison Dees of Sharpsburg, step-grandson, Ellis and Candis Lowery of Newnan. Great grandchildren Hunter Weickum and Kirstin Weickum of Newnan, Ga, Kayleigh Watson of Pottersville, MO, and step-great grandson Austin Lowery of Newnan. Great-great granddaughter Hazel Weickum of Newnan. Also surviving is his brother Edward Watson and his wife Juanita of College Park GA.
