Fred H. Shelton, 64, Alexandria, passed away October 27, 2008 at Indiana Heart Hospital-Indianapolis after an extended illness. He was born June 8, 1944 in Beckley, West Virginia, and resided in Alexandria most of his life. Fred worked at Johns Manville for many years in Alexandria.
He is survived by his children, Edward E. Shelton, Stephanie Lynn Nick Baldwin, Kelly David Trusley, Mike Shelton and Dustin Lona Shaw; siblings, Charles B. Shelton Jr., Elva JackHahnert and Zella Forrester; brother-in-law, Marvin Forrester; a very special friend, Katherine Shelton; 11 grandchildren; one great grandchild and special friends, Robin Adams and her son, Curtis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Benjamin & Bessie Jane Edmonson Shelton and a brother, Ray Mack Shelton.
