Fred G. Keesling, 61, Anderson, died November 27, 2006 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana after an extended battle with lung disease. He was born March 23, 1945 in Athens, Georgia, and was an Anderson resident for most of his life.

Fred was a bartender at Miller’s Bar for 7 years and at other local bars including The Midnight Mine for over 34 years. He served his country in the US Army. He loved Nascar and was a fan of John Wayne movies. He enjoyed Sunday drives and loved traveling and spending time in New Mexico.

He is survived by his wife whom he married September 11, 1973, Ellen Shrout Keesling; a son, Michael Keesling of Georgia; two brothers, Greg & wife Joyce Jones and Larry & wife Janice Brown; two nieces, Angie and Mindy; and good friends, Donita Crago, Sue Blakley, Lyle Thompson and Greg Whitson. He was preceded in death by his nephew, Butch Brown and a cousin, Gary Ridenour.

Fred was a blue jeans kind of guy. The family requests that you come in comfortable clothing.
