Fred Crandall Thaxter, 83, beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Thaxter, passed away on February 8, 2022. Born on December 12, 1938 in Manhattan, NY, he was the son of the late Richard and Helen (Pusinelli) Thaxter.
Fred proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Fred is survived by his children, Damien Thaxter, Devon (Patrick) McDonnell, and Charles Maglio; his grandchildren, Margaret, Eilis, and Cameron; his brothers, Richard (Dolores) Thaxter, and Thomas (Connie) Thaxter; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. In addition to his wife, Fred was also predeceased by his cat, George.
