Fred Alvin Meador, passed away on March 4, 2012, of natural causes in Nampa, Idaho.
Fred was born February 28, 1924 in Long Valley, Idaho. He was born the 12th of 17 children. He also lived in Maxwell, New Mexico; Caldwell, Idaho; Rupert, Idaho; and most recently Nampa, Idaho.
On October 14, 1944 Fred married Grace Lee Bottoms in Caldwell. They were married for 53 years until Grace passed away in March of 1997.
Fred served in the United States Army in 1945.
Throughout his life, Fred was always a hardworking man. He loved working with and around animals. He worked at many agricultural positions as well as Boeing and Ore-Ida, from which he retired in 1986.
Fred was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Bottoms, his mother and father, as well as his siblings.
He is survived by daughters, Carolyn Fesler, Louise LaJeret, and Dorothy Turner; son, Dale Meador; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
