Also preceding him in death are his parents; step-mother, Mary; a daughter, Cindy Fouch in 2000; and 4 brothers and sisters, Mary, Dennis, Beverly, and Bill. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Buchman Phillips; 3 children, Franklin W. Gail Phillips Jr. of Portage, Fredrick Phillips of Toledo, OH, and Rick Debbie Phillips of Kalamazoo; a son-in-law, David Fouch of Otsego; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild; 3 sisters, Ida Madison of Richland, Dora Bernie Zimmerman of Midland, and Shirley Bill Westphal of the U.P.; 3 brothers, Dan Phillips of Wayland, Jim Pat Phillips of Plainwell, and Lloyd Sue Phillips of Kalamazoo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
