Franklin “Smiley” Roy Tibbetts, Jr. “Wah Wain Gii Chigay Inini”, 58 of Walker, began his spiritual journey on Friday, October 24, 2014 at the Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND. He was born on April 12, 1956 in Pike Bay Township, Cass County, MN the son of Franklin and June (Donnell) Tibbetts.
Smiley was always fun to be around. He enjoyed playing cards, going to the casino to gamble, watching his Vikings football, he never missed an episode of “Jeopardy” and listening to talk radio. He would spend many late nights listing to radio shows.
Family that he joins again are his parents; Franklin and June, one brother; Brian Tibbetts, one infant sister; Diane Tibbetts and many aunts and uncles.
Those he leaves behind to cherish his smile are his daughter; Lillyann Cuevas and her husband Reynol of Brooklyn Park, brothers; Richard Wilson and his wife Patsy of Walker and Michael Tibbetts of Ball Club, sisters; Cindy Bebeau and her husband Greg of Deer River, Brenda Tibbetts of St. Paul and Crystal Tibbetts of Ball Club, six grandchildren; Elisabeth, Kylah, Kieran, Reyonna, Cruz and Karter, many nieces, nephews and other family.
