Franklin Mueller, age 87 of Fenton, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the Hawkeye Care Center in Spirit Lake. Franklin Arthur Mueller, the son of Arthur and Edna (Wolfgram) Mueller, was born on August 29, 1930 in Fenton, Iowa. He graduated from Fenton High School. On May 25, 1950, Franklin was united in marriage to Betty Voigt in Fenton, Iowa. He worked for the Fenton Lumberyard as a carpenter. Franklin enjoyed sports; especially golf. He is survived by his wife, Betty of Fenton; sons, Stan (Mindy) Mueller of Spirit Lake, Nicholus (Kathleen) Mueller of Danbury, Wisconsin, John (Joni) Mueller of Ames and Tim (Connie) Mueller of Arnold’s Park; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Franklin was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Dorothy Kern and great grandson, Jackson Mueller Poolman.
