Franklin Delano Blauvelt, 83, of Westminster, died Sunday, January, 29, 2017, at the Golden Living Center. Born March 28, 1933 he was the son of the late Walter Martin Blauvelt and Zepha Eutha Keyser Blauvelt.
Before retiring he worked at Neudecker Farm, Cambridge Rubber, Walmart and Dukes. He liked going to Ocean City with family and enjoyed playing Domino’s. He was a member of St. John (Leister’s) Lutheran Church.
He is survived by brothers Luther L. Blauvelt and wife Lillian of Westminster, Robert E. Blauvelt of Westminster, Lawrence L. Blauvelt and friend Dottie of Westminster, sisters Mittie L. Coppersmith of Finksburg, Rose M. Haller of Frederick, Joan A. Phillips of Westminster and Jean L. Seitz and husband Kenneth of Westminster. Also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.
He was predeceased by siblings Charles H., Walter T. and Louis W. Blauvelt, Virginia B. Beard and Mary E. Haines.
