Details: Franklin C. Waters, Sr., 82, a resident of Pasadena for 57 years and formerly of South Baltimore died on December 29, 2012 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. He was born on September 30, 1930 in Baltimore, MD to the late John E. and Matilda Waters. Mr. Waters served in the US Air force during the Korean War. He was a member of the VFW Post 2462 and the American Legion Post 277. Mr. Waters retired from the Teamsters Local 557 in the late 1980’s after 30 years of service. His hobbies included watching old western movies. Mr. Waters is survived by his wife of 56 years, Marie Waters, his sons; Franklin Jr. of Goldsboro, MD, Kenny J., Gary E. and Dean A. Waters all of Pasadena, daughter Brenda Gakenhemer of Pasadena, Sister Violet Bennett of Pasadena, 9 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his siblings; John Waters and Jeanette Homan.
