Frankie Payne Jackson, a native of St. Stephens and resident of Moundville, answered the Master’s call Monday, March 23, 2020 at her home. Born on Sept. 18, 1956 to Nathan Payne and Dorothy Jones Payne, she was 63 years of age.
Frankie graduated from Leroy High School in 1975 and was a member of James Chapel Baptist Church in St. Stephens. She enjoyed sewing.
Preceding her in death were her parents; brothers, Nathaniel, Billy (Mike) and Christopher Payne; sister, Patricia Diane Payne Bumpers.
Left to cherish her loving memories are her daughters, Su’Kova Hicks of Moundville and Jasmine Jackson (Michael Jr.) Moore of Jacksonville, Fla.; grandchildren, Jayden, Jordyn, Michael III, Marie, Jabari Moore, all of Jacksonville, Fla.; siblings, Brenda (Terry) Jackson, Linda Tolbert and Toneka Payne, all of St. Stephens, Shelia (Craig) Cox of Coffeeville, and Sharon (Rory) Robinson of Jackson; aunts, Barbara (Curtis) Davis and Marion Harmon, both of St. Stephens, Wilma (Luther) Crowell of Mobile and Frances Howell of Cleveland, Ohio; one uncle, Leroy Jones of Georgia; with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
