Frankie Wilson was born on March 31,1931 in Sterling, Wyoming to Henry and Rhoda Wilson. She was the fourth child born to this family and grew up in a loving home with her three brothers, Lonnie, Norman, and John; and two sisters, Louise and Dollie. Frankie attended and graduated from Central High School in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She later moved to Denver Colorado and pursued her career as a licensed surgical technician. She was employed at Mercy Hospital and had a lucrative career there for twenty-five years as a technician and also a nurse until her retirement. Because she had a deep love for caring for others, she later continued her career working as a private duty nurse. Frankie met and married George Jones, and to this union three children were born; Robin, Stephanie, and Steven. She later married Dr. Theodore Hunt. Her greatest love in life was spending time with her family and she thought the world of them.
