Mr. Frank Williams, a native and resident of the Gainestown community, made his earthly transition Thursday, May 19, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Frank was born on Oct. 14, 1939 to May Bell and Erby Williams. He owned and operated a pulpwood business for a number of years, providing for his family.
Frank was a member of the Gainestown AOH Church in Gainestown. He was a hard worker and a great provider for his family. He was an avid fan of the Dodgers and Braves, and loved playing dominoes.
Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Lillie Bell Kemp Williams; sons, Frank, Herbert and Eric Williams; daughter, Shirley West; grandson, Jarvis Jackson; great-grandchildren, Selia Jackson and Deonta Hunt; siblings, Nelson Williams, Austin Williams, Virgie Foxx and Christine Williams; and son-in-law, Kennis Robinson.
Left to cherish his legacy are his devoted children, Isabella (Oscar) Washington, Lillie (Walter) Jackson, Carolyn (Fred) Jones, Brenda (Tony) Ivory, Edward (Jennifer) Williams, Janice Robinson, Earnest (Jennifer) Williams, Lenora Chapman, Stephanie (Anthony) Brown, Priscilla Williams, Kelvin Williams, Gladys (Roderick) Hamilton , Adrian (Rodriquez) Bryant, and Antonio Williams ; 52 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren; devoted brother, Jefferson Williams ; brother-in-law, Bobbie Kemp; daughter-in-law, Latitia Williams; son-in-law, Tyrone West; a host of nieces, nephews, devoted nephews, Charlie (Dorean) Williams and Frank (Mary ) Jackson; with other relatives and close friends, George Phillips and Carlos Woodard.
