Pecukonis, Frank Jr.
On December 23, 2016 Frank Pecukonis Jr., lifetime resident of Brooklyn Park, passed away at age 64. As a youth, Frank was educated through the Catholic School System, he then earned his undergraduate degree from UMBC, received his graduate degree from Loyola, and achieved his Doctorate in 1990. His desire to help children continued as he became Director of Child and Adolescent Mental Health for Anne Arundel County, and he later served as Chief Psychologist for the A.A. County Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. A devout catholic, Frank was active in both St. Rose of Lima and St. Athanasius Parishes, and has been honored by the Archdiocese of Baltimore for his many good works.
Frank was the devoted son of the late Margaret and Frank Pecukonis Sr.; beloved brother of Diane Barrett and husband William, Debbie Schmidt and husband Jerry; loving uncle of Matthew and Lauren Barrett, Jaime and husband Brandon Krochune, and Michael Schmidt. He was also blessed with his “Chemo buddy” Helen Palmer.
