Frank Richard Sager, 69, of Odenville, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 19, 2013. He was born in Bessemer, AL to H N and Margaret Ruth Welsh Sager. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter-in-law, Renee Sager. Frank was a 1961 graduate of Hueytown High School. He was of the Baptist faith. As the founder/owner of Jeffrey Machine, Inc. in 1977, he was an integral part of the company’s success over the past 35 years. He and his wife, Anne, loved to spend time with their children & friends at the Warrior River and later in life with their grandchildren along the Alabama Gulf Coast, antiquing and traveling throughout the South. Frank was a gracious and generous spirit that lovingly embraced all of those who came into his life. Cherished memories remain with his beloved wife of almost 50 years, Anne Sager; children, Leigh Anne Sager Hutson (Robby) and Jeffrey R. Sager (girlfriend, Wendella Reeves); the joys of his life, his grandchildren, Sam, Hunter, Gabby and Destiny; his brother, Hugh “Boodle” Sager (Brenda); his sister, Jerrie Burton (Rev. Gary); a host of relatives, friends, and his devoted employees at Jeffrey Machine, Inc.
