Frank E. Roehl was born in Stockton, California, to parents Noma and Anthony Roehl. He passed away at age 85 on October 7, 2015, in Melbourne, Florida.
During his high school years, Frank worked as a machinist. He also took flying lessons and earned his pilot’s license at age 16. His love of aviation was the reason he joined the Navy.
