Frank Pizzelli
Frankie was born and raised in Elizabeth, NJ on October 8, 1965. He married the love of his life Joyce Pizzelli in 2012. When he wasn’t riding dirt bikes, he and Joyce and their Rottweiler’s, goats, chickens and parrot, Jake, whom he was teaching to say “bullshit” lived a quiet life in Florence, SC, next door to his mother-in-law Naomi Ruth Oakley who lovingly named her goat, Frankie, after him.
Frankie graduated from Edison Tec in Elizabeth in 1983 and was a Master Welder, a job he loved doing.
If you were going to describe Frankie, it would be funny. One of his favorite things to do was make people laugh and he was very good at it. He was a wonderful story teller, stupidly brave and loved his family and PNT (Pizzelli Nap Time). Frankie checked on his sister, Janet, everyday asking “You okay over there, or what?” He had a special bond with his nephew, Ian, whom he loved like a son and spoke to daily.
Frankie was predeceased by his father, Frank Pizzelli, his mother, Janet Wright Pizzelli Intile and his niece, Marisa Rose Pizzelli.
Frankie is survived by his wife, Joyce, his sisters, Janet Pizzelli and Lisa Pizzelli, his nephews and a niece, Ian Pizzelli Fealey, Maryrose Pizzelli Fealey and Jesse Pizzelli.
Being no stranger to addiction Frankie lost many friends throughout his life. He was very supportive of his nephew, Ian, and niece, Maryrose’s, strong affiliation with Not An Easy Fix, an organization whose committee they sit on to combat addiction and help those find recovery.
