Frank Orfeia long-time resident of West Harrison, passed away peacefully, at his home on January 12th of heart failure. Frank was born on October 16th 1926, at home by a midwife, in White Plains. Predeceased by his parents John and Natalina Morettini Orfei. He was educated in the White Plains Schools and joined the Marine Corps. He fought in the Battle of Okinawa and was in Guam when the war ended. He was sent to China for 8 months to help in repatriation. In 1951 he married the love of his life, Margaret [Peggy} Newman, at St. John’s Church in White Plains. He joined the Harrison Police department, and served as a President of the PBA. After retirement he was a facility manager for Pepsi International in Purchase and Somers NY. He retired in 1995. He is survived by his son Frank of West Harrison, wife Gail and children Adam {fiancé Samantha} and Gabrielle {AJ}. Son Stephen of Katonah, partner Kelly Smith and children Tara {fiancé Stephen Forlini}and Stephen {Christine}, great grandson Cormac. Grandson William and daughter in law Elise. Brother John {Anne} and sister Ann {Chuck) Witzel and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his beloved wife, of 62 years, Peggy and loving son John. Also predeceased by sisters Philomena Schroeder and Viola Supeau.
