Frank Noble Treuchet, 86, of Westminster died peacefully Monday, November 18, 2013 at his residence in Carroll Lutheran Village.

Frank was a veteran of World War II.  He joined the United States Coast Guard as a Merchant Seaman at the age of 15 and served until 1944. At that time he entered the United States Navy and served for another 9 years.  He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns but chose to continue his schooling at Springfield College where he earned degrees in education and history and became an all-star football player.  Frank taught history at St. Paul School for Boys in Concord, NH and coached the lacrosse and wrestling teams there.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are son, Ken Treuchet and wife Bess of Finksburg; daughter, Linda DeCarlo and husband Robert of Reisterstown; and grandchildren, Hunter Treuchet and wife Allison of Mary Esther, FL, Austen and Carter Treuchet, both of Finksburg, Holly DeCarlo-White and husband Alex of Tampa, FL, and Lisa Rodriguez and husband Robert of Reisterstown.
