On Wednesday, September 2, 2015 just two days shy of losing his wife two years ago, Frank Michael Nosal, Sr. went home to be with the Lord and into the loving arms of his wife, Vera. Frank ( aka “Pop”, the Energizer bunny”) was born December 12, 1919 the son of the late Michael and Veronica Nosal. He grew up in Fairfield and played football at Roger Ludlowe High School where he graduated in 1939. From 1942-1946 he served his country in the U.S. Navy where he met Vera. Following the war, Frank and Vera settled in Fairfield and raised their family. He was employed by the Bullard Company for 43 years before retiring in 1982. Frank could be found working on cars, mowing people’s lawns or enjoying his favorite pastime, junk collecting. Frank was predeceased by his wife, an infant son and four siblings. He is survived by his six children: Frank Nosal, Jr.
