Frank Michael DiGiacomo, age 85, of Sharpsburg, GA, passed away in his home on December 22, 2021. He was born on May 9, 1936, in Corona, NY to the late Frank DiGiacomo and Sadie (Oliveri) DiGiacomo. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Anthony DiGiacomo. He is survived by his wife, Doris DiGiacomo; children, Anthony DiGiacomo (Jennifer), Mark DiGiacomo (Kilani), and Matthew DiGiacomo (Julie); grandchildren, T.J., Jordan, Lukas, and Ian; great-grandchildren, Kailie and Jai; sister, JoEllen Jones as well as multiple nieces, nephews, and extended family. Frank was a man who loved his family dearly, was proud of his Italian heritage, and an avid Yankees fan. He appreciated sitting around the table with family and friends to enjoy a good meal, commemorate loved ones past and present, tell stories and laugh. Frank was an active church member at St. Martha Catholic Church in Murietta, CA and most recently at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Sharpsburg, GA, where he taught catechism classes to elementary age students. Frank was a Korean War veteran and worked as an airplane mechanic with Pan American World Airways and Delta Airlines from which he retired with 30+ years combined service.
