Sadly on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, Frank Mendozzi, Jr., passed away at the age of 62. Frank resided in Winter Springs, Florida and grew up in Burlington Township.

He was preceded in death by his parents Frank “Pete” and Rose Mendozzi. Frank was an avid sports fan and a phenomenal ball player, known for his “no-hitter” pitching skills. On the court his basketball skills were just as awesome. Known throughout the county he had kids asking for his autograph after watching and reading about his accomplishments.

Any acquaintance of Frank’s would say “hands-down” he was the funniest guy they ever met. Once he met you, you were a friend for life. Frank had a passion for Philly sports, a charismatic personality, and sense of humor like no other. His selfless ways and positive outlook kept him strong throughout all he had to endure in the recent years with his illness. Frank always looked to the positive, a trait to be admired. A thank you to everyone who faithfully kept in touch with him through Facebook.

Frank is survived by his wife Joanne, daughter Christina Mendozzi, twin granddaughters: Ariana and Alison Mendozzi; sister Barbara Quick; brother in law Bert; nieces Rachelle and Dianna Quick, many cousins and friends especially John Devlin, Paul Allen and Kathy King Lowry.
