Frank M. Titche Senica, 87, of Oglesby, died at 4:25 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Mr. Senica was born on Dec. 4, 1923, in Oglesby to Joseph and Mary (Butara) Senica. He was a U. S. Marine Corps Veteran of WW II.
He married Dolores Brennan on June 5, 1948, in St. Patrick Church in LaSalle. He was a self-employed butcher, owner-operator of Senica Trucking, and also worked in the powerhouse at Marquette Cement. He was a member of Holy Family Church, Marine Corps League, VFW, American Legion, Oglesby Elks lodge, AARP, Oglesby Knights of Columbus, and SNPJ.
He is survived by one daughter, Karen (Dr. Michael) Szott of rural Oglesby, and a daughter-in-law, Ana (John) Senica Stanton, of LaSalle, 3 grandchildren, Michael Szott, Susana Senica, and John Anthony Samaniego, and one great-grandson, Dylan Robert Samaniego. He was preceded in death by his wife on September 30, 1976, one son Robert, three sisters, and three brothers. Pallbearers will be Michael Szott, Susana Senica, John Anthony Samaniego, Marshall Micky Brennan, John Lyles, Jerry Hancock, Richie and James Senica.
