Lewis, Frank Lorenzo
aka Lazarus, Larry, 73, passed away on March 18, 2016. Frank was born in Phoenix, AZ, on August 19, 1943, and resided in the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community in Scottsdale, AZ at the time of his death. He was a talented artist that made his living carving many Kachina dolls, and other items, and gardening. A lesser known talent of his was that he could draw well, and sent drawings among his letters to family. He was the youngest child of David Louis, Sr., of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Tribe and Eulalia Lala Bouché© Lewis. It was well known that he had a huge heart and love of animals. He was always taking care of them, sometimes even getting upset at people for stepping on ants. He was a happy person, fun-loving, lively and passionate. He lived life on his own terms, and lived life fully with his best and constant companion his brother, Anthony. He will be much missed. His survivors include, Sabrina Garcia Flipse, daughter, Anthony Lewis, brother, Dora Montemorra, step-sister, and Gloria Manuel, half-sister.
