Frank Joseph Lamchick, 93, of Peru, passed away Tuesday afternoon, July 27, 2021 at Heritage Health, Mendota.
Mr. Lamchick was born on November 22, 1927 in Chicago to Paul and Mary (Bartylak) Lamchick. He married Phyllis Zdaniewicz on May 1, 1954 at St. Roch’s Church, LaSalle.
Frank proudly served in the U.S. Army. He retired from Butternut Bread as a driver and route salesman after more than 37 years of service. He was blessed with over 35 years of retirement.
Frank was a member of St. Valentine’s Church, Peru and thoroughly enjoyed trapping, hunting, going to auctions and junk collecting.
He is survived by his children, David Lamchick of Peru, Kim (Roberta) Lamchick of LaSalle and Becky (Grant) Crockett of LaSalle; one sister, Irene Perra of St. Augustine, FL; several nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Phyllis on October 28, 2013; his mother-in-law, Marie Zdaniewicz; one brother, Jim Lamchick; one sister-in-law, Joanne Lamchick; one brother-in-law, Paul Perra and his niece, Kelli Lamchick.Pallbearers will be Grant Crockett, Ken Lamchick, John Samolinski, Frank Kotowski, Steve Suarez, Bradley Suarez and Gerald Giordano.
