Frank Mauro, 71, passed away on December 9, 2020, surrounded by loved ones at home in Littleton, Colorado. He is survived by his loving wife, Roberta; son Greg (Tricia) Mauro; daughter Jennifer Mauro; granddaughter Rachel Mauro; grandson Jack Mauro; sister Elaine Gardner; brothers Don and Bill Mauro; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends. Frank was preceded in death by his father Frank, mother Emily, brother Robert “Buddy”, and sister Barbara Carlton.

Frank was born in 1949 and grew up on a farm in Vineland, Colorado. It was on the farm that he learned the values of hard work and the ability to adapt, which served him well as his journey led him through different career paths and the places he called home; relocating from Pueblo to Littleton to spend more time with his children and grandchildren.  Once you met Frank, you never forgot him. He will be remembered as a kind man with a heart of gold who had the ability to put people at ease in every walk of life. Frank loved his family, baking potica, traveling, good food, and the New York Yankees. He was a strong and caring man, devoted husband, father, grandfather, and an example of a man who put other’s needs before his own.

Frank, “Pops” will be dearly missed by those who loved him.

“I could have missed the pain, but I’d have had to miss the dance.”
