Frank J. Yestramski
GREENFIELD — Frank J. Yestramski, 85, of 170 Conway St.
He was born in South Deerfield on June 28, 1924, the son of George and Petronella (Savickaus) Yestramski.
He served with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Atlanta in the Asiatic Pacific Theatre of War during WWII and attained the rank of coxswain. He was awarded the Presidential Unit Citation and received the Purple Heart for wounds sustained in action. Also, he received the Asiatic Pacific Theatre of War Medal with 7 battle stars.
