Frank J. Kozakiewicz, 84, of Plainville, passed away on Thursday September 11, 2008, with his family by his side at Bristol Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Della (Perron) Kozakiewicz, with whom he shared 56 years of marriage. Frank was born on July 12, 1924 in New Britain to the late Michael and Juliana (Federowicz) Kozakiewicz.
Frank was a New Britain resident until he moved to Plainville in 1953 to begin his life with Della. He served his country in the United States Navy on the USS Lunga Point Ship during WWII.
Along with his beloved wife Della of Plainville, he leaves his 7 loving children Michael Kozakiewicz and his wife Diane of N.Y., Peter Kozakiewicz of FL, Joseph Kozakiewicz and his wife Janet of Trumbull, Kathryn Vaccariello and her husband John of FL, Frank Kozakiewicz and his special friend Diane of Bristol, Anne Maier of Plainville and Thomas Kozakiewicz and his wife Allison of Southington, 16 adoring grandchildren Emily, Melissa K., Brian, Nathan, Jordan, Sara, Jessica, Annie, Lee, Jeffrey, Matthew, Melissa R., Malorie, Leah, Sage and Shea, a brother Michael Kozakiewicz and his wife Priscilla of Kensington and several nieces and nephews.
