Frank J. Henry, 92 of Centralia, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Fireside House of Centralia. He was born October 28, 1923, in Rising Sun, Ohio, the son of Frank P. Henry and Blanche (Smith) Henry. He married Esther Lucille Taylor on September 12, 1959, in Mt. Vernon and she preceded him in death in 1991.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews: Bob Taylor and wife Barbara of Jacksonville, Ranny Castellari of Hoffman, Tony Castellari of Centralia, and Candace Bundy of Centralia; several great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and great-great-great nieces and nephews; special friend, Helen Baldridge and family of Centralia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a brother: Robert Henry, and a sister: Nora Mae McGee.Frank worked for Illinois Central Railroad for 41 years. Frank served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a member of the American Legion Post 446 and VFW Post 2055.
