Frank J. Herold, Sr., of Burlington Township, died Saturday, November 10, 2007 at his residence at the age of 85. Born in Baltimore, MD., on January 23, 1922, he was the son of the late Frank and Sophie Herold. A resident of Burlington since 1961, Frank was a printer by trade. In the early 1980’s he retired from the printing business and began working for St. Paul’s Parochial School in the custodial department, he retired from the school in 2003.
A United States Army veteran, Frank served his country honorably during World War II. A member of St. Paul’s R.C. Church, he served as a church lector for Mass. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Anna (nee Nemic) Herold, his children; Frank Jr., and Judy of Burlington and Charles & Katherine also of Burlington. He is also survived by his sister, Lillian Herold of Baltimore, MD., and his three grandchildren; Ryan J. & Mystery Herold, Jonathan D. Herold and Evan M. Herold as well as several nieces and nephews.
