Frank was born to Juan and Victoria Hernandez in Brighton, Colorado on March 10, 1927. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather to 83 immediate family members. He dedicated his life to provide for his family. He was a jack of all trades but most well-known for his commercial and residential painting. He was also a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a man who enjoyed playing baseball and a proud member of the Wattenburg Blue Jays. He was later inducted into the baseball hall of fame in New York. He was a true fan of the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies, whether they won or lost. He also belonged to the Los Alegres Ancianos senior group and enjoyed their gambling trips and his many trips to Blackhawk.

He is survived by his wife Marbella and their 6 children: Edna Hernandez, Verna (Sid) LaCombe, Rita Montoya, Eddie Hernandez, Allen (Terrie) Hernandez, Teddy (Audrey) Hernandez, 32 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren and numerous family and friends.
