Frank H. “Butch” Ellison, 75, of Michigan, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2019 at the Center for Hospice Care in Elkhart surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 9, 1943 in Hammond, IN to the late Melvin and Alpha Ellen (Mallott) Ellison.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Roberta “Stevie” Ellison, whom he married in Toledo, OH on January 29, 1982. He is also survived by three sons, Calvin (Jane) McGriff, Shadd Ellison, and Benjamin Ellison all of Toledo, OH; daughters, Robin (Mike) Vess of Chatsworth, GA and Andrea Cisneros of Elkhart; 9 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Charles Wayne Ellison, and sister, Lola Sinclair.
Frank proudly served his country in the United States Army and worked as a body man and painter his entire adult life at Utilimaster Corporation in Bristol. He attended New Life Christian Center Church in Bristol and loved the Lord. Frank was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed by his loving family.
