Frank Gasiorowski Jr., 68, a 47 year resident of Glen Burnie, died October 15 at his home surrounded by his family. After a second diagnosis of small cell prostate cancer back in April, Frank was given just 21 days to live. With the assistance of Doctors and nurses along with the support of family and many friends, Frank was able to turn those 21 days into 6 precious months.
He was born February 5, 1946, in Baltimore, to Frank Gasiorowski (late) and Agnes Gasiorowski, attended Baltimore City School, Baltimore Junior College, University of Baltimore and Maryland Institute of Art (MICA). In 1967, he married his high school sweetheart, Nancy McGuire, before entering the US Army at Fort Bragg, NC. His loving wife Nancy passed, after 43 years of marriage, on November 22, 2010 from Stage 4 Lung Cancer. Frank was awarded with the Rotary Paul Harris Fellow Award for his years as a dedicated Rotarian.
