Frank G. Adams, 92, died on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 and is now with his deceased parents Frank and Josephine (Martino), brothers Andrew and Joseph and sister Marie (Nunez).
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jane (Anderson), daughters Mary Beth (John), Barbara (Steve), Deborah (James) and Frances (James), and eight grandchildren John A., Mathew, Katherine (Alex), Joseph, Noel (Sal), Dana, Jacob and Eric and great grandchild Nathan. Frank was born in Newark and moved to Maplewood at an early age.
He graduated from Columbia HS, Maplewood, and Seton Hall Univ., South Orange where he earned a BS Degree in Marketing. During his senior year, Frank was elected President of the Marketing Club. Over the years he enjoyed playing golf, bowling and tennis.
He relocated to Toms River prior to retiring from Engelhard Industries after a long career in International Operations. Frank also served as Treasurer with Engelhard Export Corp. and Spinneret Sales Representative Manager. Frank served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
