Frank Ernest Walter passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2015 in Boise, Idaho. He was born in 1919 in Gooding, Idaho. His growing years were in Yakima Valley, Washington. Frank entered the U.S. Coast Guard in Seattle in 1941, serving out of Boston when Pearl Harbor came along. In his career of 20 years prior to retirement, he served in many parts of the world.
He met and married Zada Sorensen in Boise in 1963. Following another retirement in 1981 they commenced RVing and covered the country. They lived in many states, concentrating in Arizona and Oregon.
Frank is survived by his daughter, Janice Dike. Special recognition to his devoted grandson, Daniel Hogaboom and Michael Bouton who was like a son. He was preceded in death by his wife, Zada.
